When You Stop Watching Porn

Some confession…

I think I’ve spent an incredible amount of time reading about other people’s stories. The good and the tragic ones, but even the most tragic ones, more and more you dive into them, they’re starting to feel less real and more artificial, or fabricated, for whatever purpose aimed to get from stupid readers like me. Reading success stories of people simply equals porn. These are the narratives that can keep you awake at night and get you jump out of bed in the morning. But things are just over-polished.

It’s just in real life, things can get somewhat different, or quite the contrary of bits you pick up from whatever you consume here and there. If you’ve seen porn in your life,  you’d agree with me that it’s too perfect. 

What happens when you stop watching one?

You. Want. It. Too. Yeah? In the sense of entrepreneurship, you wanna start build whatever those people have been able to build in the porn you’ve been watching. Sometimes without the proper help you need, you constantly find yourself figuring out the impossible to reach the climax of it all but bleah, you always feel unprepared for what’s coming your way no matter how much you’ve read things, how many cups of coffee you’ve shared with the ones whose skills you wish to duplicate and improve. 

Some tips: whenever you find yourself in an annoyingly tough setback, never settle for cheap advise that comes from the mouths of people who never get their hands dirty in the field you’re in. When seeking advise, you just know by the way this person is carefully analysing your situation. 

I guess if you keep on pushing gently, who knows one day you’ll reach the climax. Pun intended.
