I Dance

How dare you

Coming into a life I’ve built alone

Just to let our impaired-selves intersect between feelings we can’t seem to explain.

We’ve fallen, free,

tasting each other’s skin, hiding from tomorrow.

We have now

Love is kind

And you,

lead me to the parts of me I didn’t quite know yet,

Until that malarkey night.

Gleaming through the night with you is poison

With joy and tears,

you help make a man out of me.

I don’t promise you worlds but you,

with your fiery eyes,

Lend me the key to the deepest part of you,

and so,

I dance, into you

Into you for as long as I can.
